‘GreenPrint’, Green Footprints Action Works, Seattle, WA 2008

Sponsored by community members after severe local flooding, this Green infrastructure plan provides sustainable designs for mitigating runoff and reintroducing nature into the dense urban neighborhood of Arboretum Heights in central Seattle. GAYNOR’s ‘Blue Streets’ and ‘Green Streets’ create a pedestrian- and wildlife-friendly grid of bioswales and rain gardens with native plant revegetation, pathways and overlooks.
