‘Practically Easy Landscape Maintenance: A Care Manual for Natural Drainage Systems,’ Seattle Public Utilities publication, 2006

This public information publication provides engaging and easy-to-understand guidelines and tips for environmentally sustainable plant establishment and landscape maintenance practices. For the manual, GAYNOR provided overall concepts and created text, graphics, photos and pen-and-ink illustrations.

Originally conceived and published in 2005 as a maintenance guide for homeowner’s living adjacent city of Seattle SEAStreets or Natural Drainage Systems, the publication has achieved much broader application and a far wider audience. The full text of Practically Easy Landscape Maintenance can be downloaded here. In addition the publication is available through online libraries, universities, counties, conservation districts and organizations concerned with the health of natural water bodies.
